WHERE RAZORS EDGE AND GOTTI LINE'S STARTED

       Foundation of the Breeds

Razor’s Edge was started in Maryland and D.C. by Dave Wilson and Carlos Barksdale. The foundation of Razor’s Edge was produced by the breeding of Kimmals Catt Manroo and Pam Whites China Black, which produced grand champions Throwin Knuckles (Buffy & Blue) and Inna Rage (Blue). Another foundation breeding in Razor’s Edge history is the Champion Jackson “GMJ Mr. Brooks” and ML Silver, which produced grand champion, Razor’s Edge “Sadey Paddington” (Buffy & Blue). Who was the dam of Razor’s Edge “Purple Rose of Cairo” (Buffy), the most well known of the Razor’s Edge dogs. Cairo was bred back to Paddington, which produced a female named “Viagra.” When the time was right, Viagra was bred to Cairo. “Throwin Knuckles” (Buffy & Blue) was bred to “Dakota” (Paddington’s sister), which produced “Koi,” who was bred to Cairo (Buffy) and produced “Inna Rage” (Blue) and “Neela” (Buffy). Throughout the years Razor’s Edge has taken many directions, but all the blood stems from, “Knuckles,” “Paddington” and “Inna Rage.” From these dogs, the strands of Cairo, Shortshot, Manu, and Dozier Daisy have all come about.
